Coin of the Sikh Nation
Coin of the Sikh Nation artwork commemorates the first establishment of a Sikh Raj in 1710. Led by Banda Singh Bahadur, the sovereign Sikh nation produced its own currency and seal. The Nanakshahi Sikka preserved on this ceramic display includes the original Persian inscription with an English translation.
